Fur Face Friday!
Welcome to another week of Fur and Faces on a Friday. You can revisit last week's thoughtful fur faces or onward! To thoughts of Spring! Maybe?
In case you're new here, favorites are chosen by one of the Snout Selectors (facw, k2b, Hannibal, and Best Coast), entirely on our own whimsy. WHIMSY! However, in the interest of solidarity, we try to select one dog picture and one cat picture (minimum!) each week. Other pets will also, of course, be considered. We love all your rats, bunnies, ferrets, and other furry, feathery, and finny pals. WE WILL NEVER DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CUTE.
It's Ginaaa's Stormy, feeling a little concerned that Spring showers might mean fewer walks and drives.
Meanwhile k2b's lal was more inspired by the Olympics than the seasons, seen here going higher if not faster or stronger.

How'd your day go, Balkers?
Should we add a wildlife cam to the Village? I think it would be cool to have an aviary for rescue pigeons. There could be a catio with one-way glass so the cats could watch without disturbing the birbs.
I also think a skating oval or a biathalon track would be fun, but maybe you'd prefer a luge/ bobsled run? Something easy and enjoyable, not an Olympic track.

Thursday evening open thread
It looks like the neighbourhood issue is finally winding down after 2 1/2 years of fighting; we have won a small victory, but it's something. After compromising heavily, we gained a few feet; not as much as we wanted, but it's not nothing either. And any proposed new builds on the other side of the street will also have to contend with safety rules from the electricity company and their infrastructure, which could actually put the kibosh on any development, without us having to do anything.

Thursday evening open thread
The vet said that she could tell that Boone's stomach is sore and possibly inflamed, but couldn't tell if it's pancreatitis, a small blockage, or something else. Since he's feeling fine otherwise, and still pooping, treatment will start with gastro food and small meals. If he throws up again, he'll go in for blood work and/or x-rays.
