Halloween Movies and De-Halloweening the Policy Rhetoric - Saturday Night OT

 

Nobody has to watch the network - but people can work from this list for their Halloween movies to make sure nobody misses anything they really want to see

This messaging is better, but

- I'm sorry Rep Jayapal has to do all the work #HoldTheLine

- has anybody mentioned that the number that's going to be spent is OVER TEN YEARS??

- has anybody mentioned that just a few days ago Congress gave the Pentagon about $800 BILLION for the defense budget and nobody said anything?

And that was the ANNUAL budget?

I wouldn't call it a self-own -- or even a comeback -- but the thing is, if nobody tells the viewers that these things are for everybody, and not just for them, they'll likely still pressure their reps to vote for it

But they shouldn't tell them it's for everybody -- because if people don't know it by now, they should:  The only reason the United States doesn't have universal healthcare is because White people didn't want Black people to have it (and "White people" doesn't just mean Southern Confederates).
