BTW, that's a young Rick James doing his best Mick Jagger as the singer. Also BTW, that's a young Neil Young playing guitar. James and Young were both still in their teens when they played together in their mutually pre individual fame band, The Mynah Birds. They got a contract and laid down a few tracks with Motown Records, but for various reasons, the band never fully got off the ground. (p.s. Does the tune sound vaguely familiar? Try mentally pairing The Cure's "Boys Don't Cry" with it.)
