Friday Morning Open Thread

Yesterday was a food consuming holiday in the US and some of us will be lucky enough to make a long weekend out of it.

I plan on sleeping in then eating leftovers.

Today is also America's only* true religious holiday, where we're supposed to be paying tribute to the commerce gods.

Like religious attendance in general these days, Black Friday participation is on the decline with sales beginning weeks ago and moving online. I'm sure the media hype will bring some people out to exhaust retail workers but I'll be avoiding all shopping except possibly the good bakery.

Any plans for today? Or is it just another Friday you're trying to get through?

*Also possibly The Superbowl as it too is filled with angry consumerism.
