August 21 is International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism and also Internet Self Care Day. So, you know, if one precludes the other I suppose you should just pick what's best. It's also RSPCA Cupcake Day, in which people trade tasty baked goods for happy puppy- and kittenhoods. And it's national Poets Day.
