Every year for the last few years I have a little tradition. I try to read a Halloweenish type book in October and a Christmasy type book in December. 

Some selections I’ve read are “Dracula”, “Frankenstein”, “War of the Worlds”, “Legend of Sleepy Hallow”, “House of Leaves”, “Coraline”, and some Twilight Zone anthologies.

This year I’ve read two of Terry Pratchett’s death series- “Mort” and “Reaper Man”, and now I’m reading “The Picture of Dorian Gray”. 

Any creepy book recommendations for someone who doesn’t like gory or overly scary stuff?
