DAE Feel Like We Learned Too Much This Week, Or Too Little? - Saturday Night OT

it's been a lot

after giving that succint but searing history lesson, Ali Velshi had a segment with Elie Mystal, Esq., Justice Correspondent for The Nation

and a segment with Professor Kimberle Crenshaw, who has a new book

I'm going to leave it to others across the pond to comment on what's happening with the Reform Party - but I hope you'll pardon me when I say that from here it feels like BREXIT all over again, and for the exact same reason, which is also the same reason the Confederates appear to have lost their minds

Gary Chambers in Louisiana and the Justins (Pearson and Jones) in Tennessee, as we continue to draw strategy (there are suits & appeals as we speak - and Jamelle Bouie has a plan I really like and, for him as a Virginian, it feels personal),  feel as if they have some of the more appropriate responses

And of course, the more we get into it, the more we find that the men sitting in the erstwhile SCOTUS seats basically built their fauxgument on a fount of lies

Alito Built His Argument Gutting Section 2 on Misleading Data

And we find that John Roberts has been literally – in public, in his practice – arguing against voting rights for Black Americans since 1982 (I saw an excerpt from the memo today; I had to sit down)

And the worst part of that to me, is that his confirmation hearing to sit on SCOTUS was 23 years later, after he wrote those "talking points",  and none of the Senate Democrats on Judiciary asked him a single thing about it

let's try to find some
