1. The front page does not auto-refresh, even if you have closed and reopened your browser.
2. However Ag got a tweet to embed in a post, after he tells me.

ReplyDeleteOn PC, I have found that you can frequently paste the link location on a .gif and get it to stick. I think it depends on whether said link leads through some convoluted nonsense like pinterest first.

ReplyDeleteThe little downward arrow next to your icon at the top of the comments has a drop down menu. Click on “display media”. Boom. Big pictures 😃

ReplyDeleteNo, I mean as a mod I could star the header image in a post itself and make it bigger/feature on the main page. I have found where you can edit images and make them extra large inside a post, though.
ReplyDeleteIf only we could have a single header image, though. Like when we do the Photo Gallery it'd be nice for the first image to show up on the main page then the rest could be a surprise.

ReplyDeleteI was just looking around at the Mod tools trying to get a feel for how it all works. Under Themes, we are currently set to Simple Wide. If you scroll down, look at Emporio theme (I think the sample article is called Tasty Treats). It looks almost Kinja-like. Do you think if we changed to that theme, would it help the issue with wanting the only one preview picture on the main page? It kinda looks like it might. Of course, we’d have to ask kristinbytes & owl first...
