Here’s to 10 more, Villagers. Let’s celebrate.
Hey hey, Whaddayasay? What's for lunch and dinner today? This product below could only have been a thing in the 70s. Both parents (if yo...
Assuming simon is not around since I see no Saturday post in the queue. Remember in the early 70s when every kid wanted to dress up as Ziggy Stardust for Halloween? I think I still have the plastic snaggleteeth, yellowed with age or nicotine, and am still finding the odd bits of glitter here and there. Although I have two kids, so maybe the glitter is from an old crafting project.

Weird moment at work. Teenager wants a first class stamp. I offer him Bumblebee or Shatterstar because we have currently have Transformers stamps. He looks baffled. I go with Bumblebee which is easier to tear off the sheet. Stamp in hand, he looks even more confused. His mum is nearby snickering. "You lick it."
Peter Davison, former Doctor Who and David Tennant's father-in-law, is due to play another Doctor in Bloods, Sky's dementedly daffy and delightful ambulance comedy. Samsung Kayo and Jane Horrocks lead an ensemble cast. If you haven't seen it, track the show down.
It's not a drought. It's a "period of prolonged dry weather." That's in Wales. Over the border it is a drought. Don't use that hose pipe.
This critter needs to find its way back to the Night Garden. There is thunder rumbling in the hills so I guess we will get wet. How about you?
Goood morning, folks. It is, in fact, finally the weekend (ymmv, no guarantees, poor bastard with special schedules need not apply). Time to just - you know, whatever.
I think I shot a pheasant the other day but haven't had a chance to check. Meanwhile I seem to have made a couple of friends who like carrots.
It's local election time on Thursday but I won't get to vote. This seems to be a common problem in Wales. Just came across this news item about a Councillor facing his first election contest in 40 years.
We had snow up top yesterday. Not a reference to my greying follicles as some surmised. The frosty stuff was in my garden as well and Tiddly was not impressed. Between being battered by hail and rain, it was rather cold - so naturally I had to work the freezer. Oh joy. The snow is still there today.
Bill and Ben were never like this! Is this the sacrifice the Great Pumpkin demands for Halloween? Last week there was a strange fluid emanating from the monster pumpkins at work. I wonder what's was under all those golden balls?
Got any plans for Nos Galan Gaeaf or Samhain?
The other month a little black kitten with red collar took a peek into the storeroom at work. Then she ran away when she saw I had spotted her. So cute. Her name is Betty and she sometimes follows her owner to the shops. Lots of covert surveillance of what the humans get up to. Come in and say hello Betty.
