Need to shoot off to work. Rather intense at the moment and I have six days of early starts ahead.
Here are a few bits and bobs. Actually last night's Cwrw Nant treat was Bach O Hwne, which translates roughly as "a bit of that". It's a session bitter and they are right when they say it is easy to drink.
So now a bit of this ...
Jasper and Willow crowned Cats of the Year
No ride thru service at McDonald's
Plastic eating mutant bacteria
Interesting article if you can get past the paywall. It reminds me that plastic-eating bacteria was an early subject for Doomwatch. In fact, Pedlar and Davis refried it as a novel Mutant 59.
Trigger warning on Medieval miracles
How do I untangle this bit of ancient history? Noel Coward once made an infamous joke about some humping dogs and the old firm, which shares it's name with an area of Canterbury. The joke provided some inspiration to Canterbury rockers Caravan but talking to a member of the band one time I'm not sure they understood the reference.
The dog on the album cover resembles a chap at the old firm but that seems to be coincidence.
