I'm melllllting Sunday evening hOTtie
It's been a lazy summer day. 
It's been a quiet day at home. I think I'll have popsicles for dinner! I need to finish the last couple coffee pops so I can plan the next frozen taste sensation. I'm thinking some kind of frozen smoothie popsicle.
I was looking for some ocean videos to help us think cooling thoughts, but I guess the algorithm knows I'm a geek for dinosaurs because it gave me nothing but prehistoric nighmare fish. However here's one of a whale hiding a diver from a shark, and generally being a good citizen (well maybe not from a shark perspective.) It's heartwarming, and you can imagine you're floating in nice cool water with a cetacean friend.

take people’s rights away literally in the dead of night. (Latest SCOTUS ruling in comments.)
What bothers me the most is that WE SHOULD KNOW who paid off his tens of millions of dollars worth of debts just before his SCOTUS confirmation hearing – because generally candidates who hold that level of debt are not considered for a seat on the high court because of the extent of the possibility that candidate could easily be compromised – and who paid the several million dollars worth of mortgage on his house.
Here’s
what I think I know – it doesn’t take the Nap Ministry to repeatedly assert it
for even the semi-conscious and –conscientious among us to know that rest and living
wage and healthcare and housing are penumbral rights every American should be
able to enjoy.
If
we don’t remain vigilant even when we rest, however, we have to know there are
people who are hungry and eager to take those things from us and hoard all this
society’s benefits for themselves who have been enabled to do it because they
were empowered by mechanisms decades in the making that were activated and
propelled while we were too busy, too tired, too underpaid, or too uninformed
to be looking.

I made the first batch of coffee popsicles! Here's the astronaut.
Tasted good, but a couple notes for next time: I need to strain the coffee grounds from the french press better, because they collect at the tip, and it matters which way the legs end up! This astronaut is doing a little spinal twist.
Tonight is a zoom family dinner to celebrate Fathers Day with my dad. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads and father figures amongst us! On the menu: veggie burger, and grilled squash.

We're well into summer here at Fur Face Central and after a relaxing week, it's gotten HOT. But our pals know how to beat the heat.
