I made it to Canadian Tire, and got almost everything I wanted, including a small storage bin for my clothes so that I can keep them a bit more organised than they are in the carryall that I usually take.

Library books and packing tomorrow.

Fun fact 1 acre of corn can pull close to 4000 gallons of water from the grown and out through it’s leaves in a day from mid July through August.  So when I sweat going to get the mail, it’s all the corns fault

Wednesday morning open thread

 

I think today will be taking the car to Canadian tire and loading up on some more stuff to go to the cottage. It's pretty easy to get to by transit (only 2 subway stops, and a three minute walk at either end), but I want to get a storage bin that will be awkward to carry, in addition to everything else I want to get.

It's a good week to be an insomniac. The Perseids Meteor Shower peaks this Thursday and Friday. But there may be wish opportunities in the nights before the peak. If you're up anyway, it's worth a look. We need all the help we can get.
