Fur Face Friday
The civic holiday weekend edition. Across Canada, fur faces of all kinds and their hoomins are celebrating their communities with a long weekend. Yay!
In case you're new here, favorites are chosen by one of the Snout Selectors (facw, k2b, Hannibal, and Best Coast), entirely on our own whimsy. WHIMSY! However, in the interest of solidarity, we try to select one dog picture and one cat picture (minimum!) each week. Other pets will also, of course, be considered. We love all your rats, bunnies, ferrets, and other furry, feathery, and finny pals. WE WILL NEVER DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CUTE.

I will likely spend the weekend with Flora staring at me to try to get me to remember to do all the important things on our agenda.

Today in 1948 The DuMont Network became the first TV network to show Professional Wrestling in Prime Time. Since hardly any of the old Kinescope recording were saved most of the DuMont's network shows have been lost to time.
