Fur Face Friday
First Fur Face Friday of June and the furry friends were getting into a summer mood.
Cornbread almost enjoyed illicit summer eats from Kiltedpadre's plate.
In case you're new here, favorites are chosen by one of the Snout Selectors (facw, k2b, Hannibal, and Best Coast), entirely on our own whimsy. WHIMSY! However, in the interest of solidarity, we try to select one dog picture and one cat picture (minimum!) each week. Other pets will also, of course, be considered. We love all your rats, bunnies, ferrets, and other furry, feathery, and finny pals. WE WILL NEVER DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CUTE.

Thursday evening open thread
How is everybody? I've had a headache for much of the day; a combination of wearing my computer glasses for the last 5 days (about 5 more to go), and possibly the rain moving in tomorrow night.
I'm going to inflict one of my favourite Angine de Poitrine compositions on you; Ababa Hotel. It's the jazziest of their pieces, and reminds me of George Benson's "On Broadway". They cite many, many influences. This is a live performance from last year at Saint-Brigitte-de-Laval in Quebec.

More gardening today, I think. It's one activity that I seem to be able to do without feeling a lot of eyestrain while wearing my computer glasses.
