One of the fun things about visiting my grandparents was a pile of Topper Annuals that had belonged to my mum or uncle. The early ones had a landscape format which always seemed special.

This light is at the bottom of the tunnel. Nothing like loading a carriage with tons of slate and rolling it down a sharp incline.

I think I shot a pheasant the other day but haven't had a chance to check. Meanwhile I seem to have made a couple of friends who like carrots.

It's  local election time on Thursday but I won't get to vote. This seems to be a common problem in Wales. Just came across this news item about a Councillor facing his first election contest in 40 years.
