Monday Evening OT
It's still frosty in my neck of the woods. I hope the rest of you are thawing out. How are you entertaining yourselves if you’re stuck indoors?

Sunday evening post
Most of us are probably waiting out the snow and cold at home. Hopefully everyone has power, heat, and something warm to sip.
What are you doing to stay warm, BT?
What's up?

Fur Face Friday
Welcome to Fur Face Friday! In case you're new here, favorites are chosen by one of the Snout Selectors (facw, k2b, Hannibal, and Best Coast), entirely on our own whimsy. WHIMSY! However, in the interest of solidarity, we try to select one dog picture and one cat picture (minimum!) each week. Other pets will also, of course, be considered. We love all your rats, bunnies, ferrets, and other furry, feathery, and finny pals. WE WILL NEVER DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CUTE.
Come in, cozy up with with a hot drink. It's cold oit there! You can visit last week's fur faces here.
Hannibal's Fanny took a moment to warm up to the snow
while Cosmo stayed home under the blankets with It's Ginaaa.
Johnnie and Cyd made sure HoneySmacks stayed home where it's warm.
In k2b's household, nokitty let the cold keep her from a good streeeeeeetch.
Cornbread performed a public service at Kiltedpadre's house.,Flora is sneaking in here at the end because I won't be able to post her in the comments. She's staying cozy with her straw carrot.
It's Friday, BT! Show us your fur faces!

Thursday evening open thread
I feel like this image is getting a workout this season.
It's been mostly sunny here today, and a bit warmer, but that's going to change pretty quickly tomorrow.
Miraculously, the new recycling contractor did clear our bins today, as scheduled, although they did get thrown around a bit.
When I let Boone into the yard for his afternoon pee, the screen door fell off the track. Great. I managed to get it back on after several tries, but it is jammed in a half open position. I think that ice, snow and dirt have clogged the tracks, but I'll have to wait until warmer weather to get out there with a stiff brush to clean everything.

I'm not sure if the snow has stopped yet; I have to get Boone out in a few minutes, but the plows haven't been through, so it'll be a slog no matter what. I think I'll get him out for the necessary in the yard, so he can run around a bit. And it's pretty damn cold too.
I may have a new project on the horizon; I had coffee with my former next door neighbour, who is retiring at the end of this school year and hoping to move to her cottage just outside of Bancroft. She is a longtime peace activist, and by coincidence, there is a museum focusing on peace and peace activism opening in Bancroft. It sounds like they will have collections of books, articles and papers, and may not have anyone who knows what they are doing to organise it ... you see where I'm going with this. So I could visit her for a couple of weeks at a time, and maybe assist them in cataloguing material. My brain muscle is excited.
Blaurgh!Talk
Yup, we've nearly survived another week. Seems like it'd be a good time to blaurgh off some of what's vexing ya so have at it.

Sunday evening post
Welcome to later on Sunday. I can't upload any photos at the moment (nothing happens when I click the browse photo button) so here's some videos to relax with.
Skip about 7 minutes for the beginning of adding climbing creatures to the aquarium.
