Fur Face Friday

Hello, one and all, and welcome to the second Fur Face Friday of the new year. And errmmm… hey, the second one I’m doing in a row! Hey, anybody want to help out the Snout Selectors? Seems like we could use a few good virtual snoot boopers here.

So anywho, second week of the year and our flufftastic little wonders have had a lot to help us through again. So let’s see if last week’s submissions can afford us any wisdom.

First, don’t worry - Emmer Doesn’t’s Rocket is holding the gate against any further mayhem.

In case you're new here, favorites are chosen by one of the Snout Selectors (facw, k2b, Hannibal, leahaven, and Iroqdemic), entirely on our own whimsy. WHIMSY! However, in the interest of solidarity, we try to select one dog picture and one cat picture (minimum!) each week. Other pets will also, of course, be considered. We love all your rats, bunnies, ferrets, and other furry, feathery, and finny pals. WE WILL NEVER DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CUTE.

When it comes to the world of information, ysubassoon’s Darwin knows you can’t believe everything you read.

Then again, CTSenVy’s Critter wouldn’t have you too quick to judge (that’s his job).

Krispy’s former sheltercat friend Wynn says there’s no place like home to relax and get away from your troubles.

simons’ Tiddly says be sure to get your exercise.

And BestCoast’s Alice encourages lots of leafy (or maybe needly) greens.

But Hannibal’s dog-friends give the best advice of all: when the world starts the ruckus, just go to bed and tell it PHHTTTHHHHHBBBBTTTTTTHHHH!!!!

This post is all about sharing the happy of a good critter. If you don't have a pet but want to participate, drop off your best Internet find of an animal .gif, meme, or tweet in the comments. Or any cuties looking for a home on Petfinder or a rescue/foster shelter in your area. The more animal lovers, the merrier :) Speaking of sharing, feel free to cross-post these anywhere because it's been scientifically documented that looking at cute pictures of animals reduces stress.

Now show us your fur faces!
