I might have to make some popcorn this evening and rewatch Independence Day. I remember watching it in the theater and my friends shushing me for making fun of it - specifically when there was some mention of Bill Pullman being a pilot and me goaning something like, of course president is going to fly in a fighter jet and blow up the aliens.Unlike my friends, Bindi won't care if I make fun of the movie as long as she gets some popcorn.
*I'm writing this post on Saturday night with neighborhood fireworks exploding in the background. Yes, they're technically illegal in NYS but that doesn't seem to stop many people. At least we've had a good amount of rain recently.
