Fur Face Friday

 Hello and welcome to that coziest of all end-of-week traditions: the celebration of the Fur Faces! Last week we saw a wonderful collection of sweeties, and I encourage a second look if you want a moment of exteme cute.

In case you're new here, favourites are chosen by one of the Snout Selectors (facw, k2b,Hannibal, leahaven, iroqdemic and myopicprophet), entirely on our own whimsy. WHIMSY! However, in the interest of solidarity, we try to select one dog picture and one cat picture (minimum!) each week. Other pets will also, of course, be considered. We love all your rats, bunnies, ferrets, and other furry, feathery, and finny pals. WE WILL NEVER DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CUTE.

So it has come to my attention that it is awards time in the human world. Something about Emmy and her friends in TV land. Today, I introduce some Fur Faces I wish to nominate for their dedication to the craft of cuteness, furriness, and other admirable qualities.

Let's start with Noodle, a promising nominee in "Most Optimistic"

Iris is a leading contender in the nominees for "Ready to Travel in Style"

I'm not so sure about this, but the human knows what's what

Adonis celebrated his first birthday and was nominated in the "Interior Design: Newcomer" category.

A nibble here, a nibble there - it creates a beautfiul aesthetic

Darwin and new friend Holly shared a nod their own category "Most Joyful Puppers"

There's enough corgi-bliss in this photo to meet your recommended daily allowance

Fanny brought a fabulous lewk last week and is nominated for "Best Fashion Accessory"

It frames her sweet face perfectly!

And in our final category for today, "Most Avant Garde Self Portrait," Luna is a shoe-in

She knows you want to boop that snoot.

So those are some of the wonderful Fur Friends from last week. Really though, they are all winners. Let's meet some more champions this week: Go Forth and Fur Face!
