I'll be in Prince Edward County ("The County") for a few days, starting Thursday morning, so I won't be around for comments, but I'm scheduling this for the evening.
There will be large amounts of food and booze consumed. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to transport all my clothes, boots, dog supplies (food & toys) and the alcohol I'm taking. As well as having the dog in tow. All of this will be very heavy.I have to get to the subway, which is a few minutes from home, and then from there to the commuter train station. My friends are picking me up at a station just outside the city. I don't think I can actually carry everything, but I do have a hand cart with one bungee cord, so I'm going to try and pile everything on that and wheel it, hoping that things don't slip off.
Anyway; this guy (Stefan Milo) is always interesting, and I find his presentation style is very clear, and I can actually understand what was going in different places at the same time. The plastic spoon on his mic is an inside joke; when he started his youtube channel, he only had a small mic that he taped to a plastic spoon to make it easier to hold while he was filming. So; hominid species 100,000 years ago. We have a vastly different understanding now, than we did when I took anthropology 40 years ago.
