Today in 1912 the State of New Mexico official joined the United States of America. I've never been there but really want to some day.
Even though New Mexico was the 47th State to join the Union, it's capitol, Santa Fey is the oldest in the USA since it was founded by the Spanish in 1610.
Albuquerque is the State's biggest city.
