There is a new scam in town. Mostly via ads placed on social media. It offers folk a BP card for 200 litres of ⛽ petrol for only £1.79. Sounds too good to be true? That's because it isn't. BP have nothing to do with it. And the folks that sign up, apart from losing £1.79, find their details harvested for all kinds of crap.
Some of this is on sponsored links and I can't help wondering why there are no checks up front to prevent this kind of thing?
