^^ Looking closely at that web, you can see that the same corporate entity - Comcast - has a controlling interest both in NBC/Universal, which owns MSNBC, and the Warner/HBO/CNN conglomerate which itself has both a right wing billionaire majority shareholder and dumped/froze a bunch of original content (mostly by creators from marginalized groups who now can't get that IP back) as well as the programs of Brian Stelter and John Harwood (who at least got to do their last shows before being dismissed, unlike Tiffany whose show was still in the program guide last night but which placeholder was gone by this morning).

But I do want to draw some direct causal lines to policy choices made as a result of those motivations and attitudes
This is what happens when people with authority do what Cesar Corden just did
When
they cave because they fear the tantrums of white supremacists
When
people who have the authority to act in the public interest act instead to appease
people who act in furtherance of systemic white violence
