WINTER KILLS and so does Wednesday–Open Thread

Movies nobody cares about and nobody's watched but will gladly express an opinion on, part 5,328 in the series: In which first time feature director William Richert adapts the novel by Richard Condon (The Manchurian Candidate, Prizzi's Honor) and creates something strange and occasionally wonderful.

The poster below says it all:
Den har mannen har just fatt reda pa vem som mördat hans bror! Med döden som ledtrad börjar han nysta upp en sammansvarining, sa otrolig att den kan vara sann.

I'm convinced. But in case you are not, look at the noir veterans in the cast:

It's on tubi, and that may be the perfect way to watch a movie about paranoid conspiracy theories surrounding the JFK assassination; commercials for natural viagra and reverse mortgages between the episodes of young Nick Kegan's (Bridges) picaresque adventure. Also on kanopy for those that have it.

It's 4am and I've been up for three hours. I will not be here later. Have a good one.
