Good evening, morning, afternoon, whatever it is for you. I mean that sincerely, for what it's worth. I haven't read any Brian Stableford – he seems to be a reputable sci-fi/fantasy author, or at least a veteran one – but I'm curious what this one's about.
You probably asked the same question I did, "How good are hooved creatures at climbing trees?" Goats, sure, are excellent at scaling cliff walls (with all four legs), but even with human arms it must have been a mighty struggle for the centaur. Maybe that's what the book is about. I was promised vampires so there better be vampires is what I'm saying.
(In reality, I just finished Monsters by Claire Dederer yesterday. I was going to write a mini review, but that's too hard rn. Lucky you.
Haven't read a novel yet this year. Maybe it's time to start The Milkman, but Disillusioned is waiting for me at the library.)
What's up with everyone?
