The end of a busy day. The weather has turned dodgy, so it looks like the trip to Ikea for bookshelves has been postponed, but I got my hair cut, picked up my new lower retainer, and got the ears pierced. It was like a big pinch; not too bad, but I don't think that they quite match in position. 😞 I'm stuck with these studs for 3 weeks, and studs only, no hoops or drops for 6 months. And I favour drop earrings.
I did indulge myself by looking at some new earrings at a couple of jewellery stores, and was tempted by a pair of opal earrings on sale for $1600 (!). A bit rich for my blood. I consoled myself by saying that they were in a gold setting, and I prefer silver.
