Ailey & Ellington Family Program – part of Ailey’s First Virtual Winter Season
Hi Everybody! What's crack a lackin'? I've been busy, haven't kept up with my Backtalkers.
Here is Penelope the Goose, frequent taco stealer and Dogspotting contributor. You can find her on Instagram too, she's a hoot! Has great collars too, good fashion sense.I had 2 dogs earlier this week. My kitties don't always like being kept in the bedroom, but they like it better than those scary dogs. I played trivia for the first time in a long time, it was fun! It was all about John Hughes and his movies. We came in 12th, not great, but good for 4 people.
What's new with you?
Hey everyone, it's Friday again! This is my first post here in the new Backtalk, so lets see if I can do this without screwing up too much.
In case you're new here, favorites are chosen by one of the Snout Selectors (facw, k2b, Hannibal, leahaven, and Iroqdemic), entirely on our own whimsy. WHIMSY! However, in the interest of solidarity, we try to select one dog picture and one cat picture (minimum!) each week. Other pets will also, of course, be considered. We love all your rats, bunnies, ferrets, and other furry, feathery, and finny pals. WE WILL NEVER DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CUTE.
In that sharing spirit, if you don't have a pet but want to participate, drop off your best Internet find of an animal .gif, meme, or tweet in the comments. Or any cuties looking for a home on Petfinder or a rescue/foster shelter in your area. The more animal lovers, the merrier :) Speaking of sharing, feel free to cross-post these anywhere because it's been scientifically documented that looking at cute pictures of animals reduces stress.
In any event, we had some good pets last week, so let's take a look!
It's Friday. It's winter (except in upside down land). COVID is on the loose and some of our countries (not upside down land) are encouraging its spread because freedom of a bunch of selfish idiots.
But we also have a bunch of smart, dedicated science people who are trying to save us before the selfish idiots kill us all. It's the beginning of the third act of a thriller and shit is getting real. So with that in mind I leave you with this:
It's your Thursday evening open thread!
For a change of pace, here's a new video from Dean and Nala, who are currently locked down in a beautiful town in Austria, so we're going to tour around the village with them.
