It's ... Labor Day in the US? I'm forgetting holidays from the olde country already. If so, Happy Labor Day! Also, Shana Tova to any of us celebrating Rosh Hashanah, the start of year 5782 in the Hebrew calendar. And Happy Any Other Holiday to who/whatever I've missed! So, how did any holidays go for anyone? Or just a plain ol' normal day blurred into all the rest, like most nowadays?

Morning, all. Today is a day in the States to cease your labors and reflect on human rights and stuff, unless of course you are essential enough that people don't really give a damn you still have to come to work.

Sunday Evening OT

It's North American Labour Day Eve! And also Erev Rosh Hoshana! Let's hope for a sweeter year going forward.

Last night, I watched the Labour Day fireworks from the dock at my auntie's, and made s'mores on the fire. Some of the leaves are changing, I had to pull out a hoody, the days are a little shorter... is summer truly over? Sigh.

Are you looking forward to fall and new beginnings (especially for those of still coming out of shutdowns)? Or maybe just some cooler days, for those swesting through summer in the northern half of the planet? Or are you just girding your loins for Monday?
