Friday Evening Post

 Good evening.

Welcome to the first Friday evening of June in the foul year of our Lord, 2022. Gaze upon the "Landscape with Oaks," by Alexandre Calame. 1859.

Fur Face Friday

Happy June everyone, and happy Pride month! Let's celebrate love in all its forms by enjoying the many and varied fur faces of last week's comments, all of whom are very lovable and very loved.

Thursday evening open thread

Well howdy there, internet folks, here's a hopeful video about fossil fuels and renewable energy from Beau of the Fifth Column. I hadn't heard any of this before today.

Also; this is election day in Ontario, and we'll see if ole Dougie Ford gets in again. Hope not. Dougie is bad for the environment.

Wed Eve OT:Brr

Or Thursday morn for me. Given our continuing cold snap, at this point all space heaters throughThe Dacha are probably on and being huddled up to by cats (except good ol' Firbank, who loves to nestle in the crook of my arms against my chest as I pock away on the laptop). How's the weather with you? Anyone too hot, please send extra heat here. Sydney seems to have forgotten its climate is classified as 'subtropical'.

Welcome to Wednesday, folks.

How's the week going? And how on earth is it June already?
