Nice beaver! I've had beaver lodges on my property at the cottage, and you can hear the babies and the adults calling to each other. One day I was walking along the shore and heard a rustling in the bushes behind me, turned around, and there was a baby beaver. It ran past me and into the water and the little tail, about the size of my hand, gave a tiny "warning! danger!" slap on the water.
