- 1789 George Washington proclaims today to be a day of National Thanksgiving to honor the the constitution
- 1863 The First National Thanksgiving is celebrated.
I'm planning on sleeping in a little and then taking a long shower before heading up to dad's place and trying to enjoy the nice for November Day. Grilled steaks and twice baked potatoes, with a salad on the side. Plus some pie.
