Welp; I've sent off another payment to the power company, this time via wire transfer, so I have an actual document from the bank, and the bank is actually going to reverse/stop the payment on the first payment; it has been 4 months now, so it looks like I'll be getting the money back, but not from the power company.
We'll see if this payment goes through!
