I still remember when all we had to think about when the weather looked like this was how long we could get the family to let us stay outside running around throwing snow at each other
I used to always wonder what the "grownups" in the house were fussing about when we (mostly) all got a day off (in the house I grew up in stuff like that was rarely explained)
I understand a little better now but some days I still think "not as much" (even though nobody who was a "grownup" when I was little had to get down Storrow Drive when it was sleeting AND snowing and the average mph was about 65 on that skinny little road and the BMW being driven by the howling frat boys in the opposite direction was going about 80 mph and close enough to splatter the dirty slush in their wake right on the windshields we on the right side were trying to keep clean so we could see far enough ahead not to go skidding into the divider).
At the same time - the Globes were last night (much too early in the month for those of us who were not prepared) and we did not have a chance to examine the fashionistas from groups Hollywood still sometimes does its best to marginalize.
So if you saw someone whom you thought should have gotten more recognition than they did, by all means, point them out:
Zendaya - Balenciaga
Kerry Washington - Balenciaga
Michelle Yeoh - Balenciaga
Demi Moore - Armani Privé
Anna Sawai - Dior
Pamela Anderson - De La Renta
(Queen) Viola Davis - Gucci
Other than that, what else are we doing with our inclement day (other than musing about the ... state ... of various governmental entities) that we didn't have a chance to document in the morning post ...?
And
