I have a couple of recs to share. Balkers with Costco memberships, you have to pick up this snack mix. It's not very hot or sweet, but it's completely addictive.

Daniella Mestyanek Young's Uncultured. Holy moly, this book. It’s an intense read. All the trigger warnings - child exploitation, physical, and sexual abuse in this memoir about growing up in the Children of God cult. And how her experiences made her vulnerable to the cult like aspects of the US Army. She’s careful with her descriptions though. I have so much admiration for her. She not only survived but eventually thrived. Her next book, The Culting of America, will be released in January.
