It's been a hot, sunny, summery weekend despite the fall colours.

I saw that some Balkers are having trouble with videos crashing their phones, so I'm adding them in the comments instead of the post. Is that any better?

 Here's another victim of the housing crisis. Hermit crabs are facing a shell shortage as well as beach debris. 

Meet Molly, a wild rescue otter. I rewatched the documentary Billy and Molly: an otter love story last night. It's heartwarming, funny, and the scenery is gorgeous. As a bonus, there's a soccer-loving border colley. Highly recommend.
