I swept the main floor of the house, and cleaned the kitchen and bathroom, so things are kind of respectable. And started a book by an author I haven't read before; I'll report back when I get further in.
My former next door neighbour texted me today about a shopping expedition next week to get a couple of floor lamps that I've been coveting, so maybe I spoke too soon about the friendship fading away.
