The Monday After Bloody Sunday on Parlez Vous Monday

One of the things that can drive one to the most distraction (I know) in an international climate like this is that it makes it that much more challenging to commemorate the things that must be remembered if the civilization - such as it is - is to move forward and not be dragged backward further than it moved forward

Here is some information from the National Museum of African American History and Culture on the day of the commemoration of Bloody Sunday

ON THIS DAY - BLOODY SUNDAY - NMAAHC

and here is a commemoration of two of the people I know in the public sphere who take voting rights most seriously and from whom I personally draw inspiration to continue in the face of their example

Ali Velshi Talks to Rep Justin Jones about Freedom Summer

and the rest of the post will be left for open discussion about what's on peoples' minds related to mutual aid and community care during this time of absolute turbulence that's been designed to drive us all insane (so we will exercise best efforts not to let it not just because we know Confederate tricks, but because we're mostly just that stubborn and also patriots) ... including posting of the problems that have been invented or discovered just today so we can parse some ways to swat them down too (and/or "no be there", via Mr. Miyagi, when that's the most practical solution)

I'm going to put Symone Sanders' & Eugene Daniels' new podcast in comments too, as Ayman Mohedin and Nicole Hannah Jones - two more of the most important people who need to be talking right now -  were their guests this past week
