It's Appreciate A Dragon Day. We've a few dragons of legend locally, a couple of castle busting creatures near Beddgelert, an icy lake dweller, The Anfac, near Betws y Coed, or The Bych in Denbigh, a monstrous worm slain by a knight with two thumbs on each hand. That last one might have returned in the Eighties for a spot of sheep stealing. The young lady above, Dwynwen, is pictured at Caernarfon Castle but currently resides at Carephilly Castle with other half Dewi and babies Dyan and Cariad. Got any local beasties, fire breathing or otherwise?
Also International Hot & Spicy Food Day, so maybe time for a Dragon's Breath Curry. Other days include Fig Newton Day, Quinoa Day, Soup Swap Day, and Psychiatric Technician's Day. And Nothing Day.
America declares war on Australia. Biological weapon deployed.
