The eleventh day of the eleventh month is some sort of anniversary for me, so mark me down as an excused absence. I'll be lurking in the sugarcane grove, looking all eerie and shit.
The fall days are gorgeous but it's dark by 6:30. I think I'm going to put the Christmas lights up early this year for morale. Who doesn't feel more cheerful with twinkly lights?
They don’t need to be taken with a fancy camera or works of art. Share any SFW photos you’ve taken with even the poorest of potatoes. Of course we love to see that arty stuff too.
Hello and welcome to a safe haven of the interwebs where the Fur Faces are always comforting and cute. Everyone in last week's comments were real charmers, so for today let's enjoy a sampling:

In case you're new here, favourites are chosen by one of the Snout Selectors (facw, k2b, Hannibal, leahaven, and myopicprophet), entirely on our own whimsy. WHIMSY! However, in the interest of solidarity, we try to select one dog picture and one cat picture (minimum!) each week. Other pets will also, of course, be considered. We love all your rats, bunnies, ferrets, and other furry, feathery, and finny pals. WE WILL NEVER DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CUTE.
CONVERSELY, we're presumably gonna have to survive this bullshit. So if you have found any good advice, hilarity, references for relatively trustworthy media or at least places to start, outlets for your feels or opportunities for solidarity to help yourself or someone else navigate this new world of ours, drop that too.

*And again, we are asking that all election and political commentary is kept in these election-specific posts, leaving the usual morning and evening OT posts free of the topic.
