🍫🍊A little while back I bought a box of Orange After Eights. They added a bit of orange flavour to mint wafer-thin chocolates. Kind of ok, not unpleasant but you do wonder what it adds to the experience. Just not quite right. The other morning I started to wonder what it would be like to add one to a bowl of muesli when I stuck it in the microwave? I have not put that thought to the test. Yet.🐙

😡 Sex Pistols in Court Battle. Time was Johnny Rotten traded on being seen in "a hostile and unflattering light". Still, I would like to see Walt Disney's Sex Pistols. That's a sketch challenge if you are lurking Squirrel. It's Disneyland's birthday today. The amusement park opened in 1955 and what better way to rebrand for the 21st Century than with a Seventies-styled Vivienne Westwood bondage gear attraction.
The day I went to Disneyland, I had a terrible hang-over. Drinking that much tequila is not sensible. Came back to life eventually and managed the rides without being sick. Their fried chicken was awful though. Disneyland Cats.

🎨Punch is why we call cartoons, well, cartoons. In 1843, the Houses of Parliament were to be decorated with murals, and preparatory sketches, or "cartoons", were displayed for the public. This coincided with a period of great poverty in London, cholera outbreaks, and grumbles over payments given to the Duke of Cumberland. They might have been starving, but they had this groovy art exhibition to attend. After John Leech's Substance and Shadow sketch, humourous drawings would forever be cartoons.
