Currently 10:16 AM, but I'm assuming I'll be tired when this publishes. Not as tired as an overactive toddler in a bookshelf, but still. pretty tired.
None dared call it murder!
Looking at today's schedule, I'm going to be out of the Backtalk offices until right around 10:30, so TAY and enjoy this tourism board video of Chicago in 1977, before the Bears, Bulls, White Sox, Cubs, and the hockey team won their championships. I learned that "Chicago is religious", "Chicago is fun", cultured, diverse (Black people in a parade, a Chinese couple on a bus), exciting, and "Chicago is... whatever you want it to be!" through the blandly pleasant delivery of the 70s VoiceOver dude. At around the 11:40 mark, after describing the thrilling nightlife, he says something like "For other kinds of fun..." and the scene wipes to a woman's bikini'd torso on the beach while cheesy saxophone music plays in the background. Truly this represents my childhood memories.
Hope everyone had a decent time of it today, and hey...
