Happy May Day to you, however you observe it.
It seems labour is still fighting the same battles in 21st century that they were 100-150 years ago.
I spent the afternoon tangling with the torny vine that's taking over a corner of my parents' yard. It actually took little bites out of my jeans. There's couple rhubarb plants back there, and I've just about freed them from their thorny prison.
