More Esperanza Spalding/Robert Glasper, Less Drake and Chris Brown, To Sustain Ourselves Through the Incoming Flood of Misinformation in All This Global Chaos

 

 

I didn’t even *hear* that Chris Brown’s nose was bent out of joint over Robert Glasper (I still haven’t really figured out what Mr. Brown is complaining about) – in part because I have deliberately paid the minimum amount of attention to Chris Brown my brain can manage ever since Rihanna went public about his abusive treatment

 

then I saw this come down my feed

swiftly followed by the bio of the actual artist in question (the one who was asked by her alma mater back to teach at it not a half decade after she graduated, not the other one)

 

 

and I really kinda felt like this was the note that summed the whole mess up most succinctly

 

and that person is an A&R exec so they should know

 

I also am not going to say that if OWYAC brings Britney home and the latter ends up changing her name (Not Kimmie!) that I am not going to continue trying to find her tribute songs
