I think I've found a metaphor for my feelings about the new year. Am I being too pessimistic? I've never had a greater feeling of "reach for your tin hat" at the start of a year than I do now, except possibly 2021.
Maybe a more hopeful topic for this evening (EST) would be what have you read or plan to read this year? I definitely want to keep growing my attention span after my pandemic era laissez-faire follow-four-screens-at-once period. So... reading.
