Treasure Hunt (Scavenger Hunt?) for the Nice Things - Saturday Nght OT

On top of everything else there is to say about this – it’s an amazing photograph and anyone who knows who took it and where the concert is when it was taken, please share by all means

Full statement of the American Federation of Musicians supporting their members

Leah Litman, law professor and one third of the brilliant (and I think award-winning by this point) Strict Scrutiny podcast team (Professor Melissa Murray and former White House counsel Kate Shaw are the other two), has written an amazing book to help us all navigate the moment and the strictures of a lot of the most powerful people who put us in it

She’ll be hosting a live discussion this coming Monday noon Eastern time sponsored by the National Association of Women Lawyers - registration is here

AND she’s made a link available to get her book at independent bookstores

Here’s her discussion with Michael Steele on how so-called “conservatives” blew up our whole legal system

I want to shift and do a spring shoutout to all of those – all of us – who are doing the long, hard, challenging, tedious, sometimes DUSTY work (that also engenders serious decision fatigue) of weeding down and digging out the things we do still very much need (and often were wondering where the hayull they had gotten to) from underneath the piles of things we do not need that have to be shredded and/or physically removed from the domicile

(and often even when they are shredded one still has to take them to recycling)

NYAG James and a coalition of Attorneys General take the time to write a whole press release for those in the back who have not been paying attention why diversity is an excellent thing for more productive and globally competitive workplaces - since apparently those of us who already understand it have to do this now

Speaking of the breathtaking cornucopia of diversity in our country in the parts where it is functional  - here is a special piece celebrating the Schomburg Center because it is a place I love.

DO NOT TELL the current Republicans in office (local, state, national, otherwise).  They will try to find a way to ruin it.
