-      we’re allowed to think about the culture in the way we want and the way we built it rather than the way they want us too (especially as these really are people who have no culture, come on)

-      they really are causing chaos on purpose so we have the perfect right to reconfigure our coping mechanisms however we need them to work for us

-      that we are not alone

Golden Globes are tomorrow night (on CBS, so I am conflicted) – Screen Actors Guild Awards will be March 1 and the Oscars will be after that

 So not only is there plenty of time to weigh in on so many of the ways Sinners deserves all the awards – there are already plenty of analyses detailing that however much Timothee Chalamet is one of the generational talents of our times, that Michael B. Jordan besides also being that was doing literally AT LEAST three times the work (more could be argued, and Wunmi Mosaku argued it, and who am I to challenge her) and yet they’re still ending up in the same awards categories, and how ridiculous that is even as it remains the system working exactly as designed

but I often find Alex Beightol’s  are some of the best 

 

Someone else pointed out today that Bowie & Prince have been gone 10 years and everything has pretty much gone to sh*t
