Happy Thanksgiving to all celebrating this weekend! I'm realizing now I was a fool not to pick up a butter tart for dessert for tonight's long distance Zoom dinner with my parents. I got caught up in the disappointment that they were out of pumpkin pie and couldn't see the bounty before me. Oh well, I have cookies and cocoa. 

Any regrets from the weekend or does being a Balker mean never looking back?

I'm trying to jumpstart my house purging project, so I'm trying to clean and clear a shelf/drawer a day (yesterday was an exception, since I was helping to clear out an unwanted development in the neighbourhood, and I figured that was enough for one day!), so I've done two shelves this week. I'm discarding my old planners, and I came across the 2001 planner, when I moved into this house, and my 2017 calendar with a notation for July 27,  marked "6:30 Kia". So that was the day I adopted her.

They are mostly noting times of programs, and stats for work, and I know that I'll never need those again, and will never look at them again, so out they go!
