Just because the Australian Open was early this year doesn't mean with all the chaos I didn't completely forget it was getting ready to open - and everyone here knows how hard I go for one of the few sports I understand
Juan Martín del Potro won his one and only Grand Slam title defeating Roger (Federer) in five sets at the US Open in 2009. He also won a silver medal in the 2016 Olympic games (defeating Rafa, boo) -- but he didn't get to the places some of us felt he deserved to be in his career because as a tallie he was as injury prone as some of the rest of us that rooted for him
I think SEC football is a thing that's happening now? And people are talking about whether there's too much NBA or too much NFL on right now? And off-Broadway shows are happening but the previews to Denzel's Othello on Broadway are already sold out ...?
What else are we missing that we might be ordinarily looking forward to or paying attention to were we not always being inundated with some near-emergency level insanity right now ...?
